With mobile e-commerce revenue increasing and conversion rates from mobile devices improving, I’m very please to hear that Google will now be displaying Google Shopping ads (aka Product Listing Ads) on mobile devices.
Google Shopping is Google’s price comparison service similar to Pricegrabber, Shopping.com, etc. Whlie it is possible to list products on Google Shopping for free, the most effective method is to display Product Listing Ads via Google Adwords. This strategy is proving to be very effective for online merchants with sales, conversion rates and cost per conversion significantly out-performing standard Adwords text ads.
If you have an e-commerce site and you’re running Product Listing Ads you should upgrade to Enhanced Campaigns soon. If you have an e-commerce site and you’re not running Product Listing Ads via Google Shopping and Google Adwords then… well… you should be! 🙂
